This book is such a tedious read. The passages about actual events were quite interesting, but the ones about customs and rituals...well I've never had patience for those types of reads. It was also disconcerting to hear that a man had come forward since the book was published and discredited Rigoberta, which made finishing a book which might not have been true even more painful.
