What i liked about this book was that it showed the brutal truth between a immigrant and a civilian. We see both sides of a story and i found myself showing sympathy and compassion to both sides. It shows the struggles of an immgrant couple trying to start a life in America. Tihs is made almost impossible by the people living in the community including the other family this book is written about. I considered this novel a very easy read and i also took alot from it. It taught me that i have no right to judge anyone and that we should all be equal.I thoiught this was a great book to start out American Lit
