I give this a three and a half. I liked it but it was semi-boring if you know what I mean...It was slow and confusing, maybe it was just me, or maybe I had to be born in the 19th century, maybe it would have been awesome! I guess the grammar and different language dialects put me off and it was slightly hard to read (I'm terrible with accents lmao) But I know that it was needed, after all its told from different diary entries. I think it would've been more interesting if told by just Jonathan and Mina just the two of them, well more Jonathan's POV because his entry was more darker and gave more mystery to the story, and made you eager to know what was going on, but then you get to the others and it felt like fillers to me, again I know it was needed to be told from different POV or had it been more detailed, but I think the superstitious things that happened in transylvania was interesting. I'm sure I read the wrong edition, it was slow slow slow and then you get to the ending and be like ohhh now its getting somewhere. I thought this would've been scary, yeah nah its just blah lmao...I think I had too many distractions when I read this, too many! I put it down too many times and took me longer to read, but, because it's about vampires it does get my vote haha!
