Jen's review
Little Earthquakes by Jennifer Weiner (Goodreads author!)
When I first started reading the book I was a little confused. Then when I realized the way the book was set up, it started making sense to me.
The main characters in the book are Ayinde, Becky, Kelly and Lia. Each chapter is named for one of the ladies, depending on who the chapter is focusing on. At the beginning of the book, the women do not know each other. We come to find out each has a story to tell, and it focuses on their pregnancies. Not far into the book the girls meet and become friends.
There is a lot of humor in the book. Becky is witty and makes me laugh a lot. Her mother-in-law Mimi is quite a character! Kelly reminds me of Charlotte from Sex and the City.
Great story and lots of fun to read. As always with chick lit, it only took me a couple of days to do the whole book.
