it was amazing
bookshelves: adventure, creative-writing-ideas, for-girls, children-s-books

Great Book as a child both my sister and I read it. It's about a little girl who has a strange adventure in the woods beyond her house and meets a family of immortals. Thought provoking ending, pretty language throughout.

Great read for second through at least fifth grade. Would inspire writing debating the ending and other choices that come up in the story.
