This book has the same humorous, satirical voice as Bloodsucking Fiends and You Suck, and even has cameos by some of the characters found in those two books. So right away, I knew it would be funny, a little absurd, and a nice light read. Following Charlie Asher as he bumbles his Beta Male way through the paranormal world of Death Merchants is quite a ride. Though, I must say, the identity of the Luminatus was neither a mystery nor a surprise, and I'm surprised that Charlie didn't realize it earlier.
