Saving Fish from Drowning: A Novel (Ballantine Reader's Circle) by Amy Tan
I figured I should read an Amy Tan book so I grabbed this one. I thought it was pretty good. I was very bored with the opening chapter, which gave background on the narrator, but once the trip itself started I was entertained. The stubbornness of the tourists was infuriating but of course that was the point. I didn't feel that any denouement was reached even though I think the author tried to include one. Overall, though, I thought it was enjoyable--fun and entertaining and occasionally a little moving.
