I've always been a fan of Anne Murray and reading her autobiography has been a complete and utter pleasure!!

Show business of any type isn't an easy thing to break into and once you do, to keep oneself on an even and responsible plane can be difficult. Not caving into the pressures of the glitz, glamour, drugs and alcohol is often a nightmare that plunges many singers/actors into a habitual and recurring stay in rehab. Anne Murray, however, hailing from a close-knit family has drawn on the values and morals instilled by her parents and was able to carve out a successful career for herself, but not without some pains, gains, losses, and difficult decisions. After 40 years in the limelight, Anne continues to be respected by colleagues and fans from around the world.

Anne is CANADIAN and refused to reside in the United States where anyone who "makes it" seems to go. Instead she choose to reside in Thornhill, Ontario, a suburb of Toronto where she set up her marriage to Bill Langstroth and raised their two children Will and Dawn.

Anyone who is a fan of Anne Murray will delight in reading this autobiography.
