Even though I felt like I gained a lot of insight, the content still felt very biased. I keep wondering how people of the Islamic faith–more particularly, one from each faction and level of devoutness–would feel about this book.

Kevin Consider if this book was written about your faith/culture - what would be your predisposition of a book written about you from someone that didn't share your beliefs? Would you open up to the book, or take a more defensive stance before cracking the cover?

For me, I would probably be more defensive of what I believed if the person writing about my faith was not of my faith.

How different do you think the book would be if he was a part of the faith/culture he was writing about?
