Felicity's review
Lord of Light
by Roger Zelazny
I want to say that Michael St. Clair recommended this book a while ago, but it could have been a different one. Wanna hear something crazy? You were in my dream last night. Nothing specific, just some random friends from different parts o' my life.
Since I have it borrowed from Michael St. Clair, that's probably not a bad guess.
That is funny, but maybe not so weird, as I have been floating in your online vicinity of late.
I think it's weird that you are reading this book, since I have had it sittin gon my nightstand for months, although not reading it. School. heh.

Zelazny drops you right into the middle of this story, but don't be intimidated by the unknown names and tech/magic confusion. The book is intelligent, wildly imaginative, and daring. Its nested layers of reality, paradigm and belief are baroque and intriguing. I already loved Zelazny, but now I love him even more.
