Liz's review
QB VII (55308577175) by Leon Uris
Typical Uris, in that it is beautifully written, with gorgeous characterization, very interesting story and contains the always present kick in the head of tragedy to really depress you. Main story is set in the '60s and revolves around a libel lawsuit which is brought by an older Polish doctor against an American Jewish author who wrote a book about the Holocaust that mentions (in one paragraph of a 700 page book)that the doctor, a highly respected man, performed experimental surgery on Jews in the concentration camps on behest of the Nazis. The trial itself i completely riveting.
