A Million Little Pieces
by James Frey
by James Frey
This book was an atrocious assault on the senses. Maybe my opinion was tainted by knowing that there was more fabrication in this memoir than should be respected. Nonetheless I don't believe I would have been impressed by Frey's memoir.
The language is brash, and the dialog structure insults intelligence. I'll stick to Chuck Palahniuk when I want to read about the dark side of the human psyche from now on.
