It's a well written story, but I'm not sure if I enjoyed it exactly. I did find some of the Irish humor, I think. The part where he has to keep going back to confession made me giggle. :)

I'm glad I read it though. It's one of those books that makes you realize how strong people can be. It really gives you insight into their experience. He does an amazing job of making you feel not only their suffering but also their little successes.
