this was great. I was a bit misled, like many readers probably, into thinking that the whole memoir would be about the teenage relationship that is featured in the film. This chapter was quite short; but I really enjoyed reading about Barber's career in journalism and her relationship with her partner. The best personal journalist-y kind of writing is like this.
