Three men with colossal ego's loose a much admired lover. An Editor of a British tabloid, one of Britain's finest Composers and the Foreign Secretary. They lead private and complex lives her death exposes much that have kept to themselves.

It is a small book that says a lot in an evocative way (certainly makes you reflect on our current media driven culture). To say more would mean a spoiler alert. I will refrain from further synopsis and simply say I enjoy Ian McEwans style he is perceptive with interesting insights. Highly recommend.
