For me, the overall plot of the story bothered me. Maybe because I was a bit jealous of her ability to up and leave everything and take time to figure things out in 3 beautiful places. Yet, instead of looking for Liz to be a likable character, I simply saw it as a story of one person's journey. We all have our own journey we have to go through, and I think there are pieces of wisdom that we can take from each other's stories. From this perspective, I found that the book was full of little pieces of wisdom that I needed to hear at the time. I am grateful to the author for her willingness to share her journey and I hope to take away from it some of the truths that resonated with me.
