The Guns of the South blends the facts and history of the American 'War For Southern Independance' with just a touch of science fiction to show what might have happened had the South actually won. A must for Civil War afficionados.
It's been a long time since I read this, but it was very good. :-) I always meant to read the sequel; yet another book on my list of future reads. ^^;
