FIRST LINES: The sights and sounds of Christmas were all around him. At home, the scent of evergreen mingled w/ ginger & spice, & multicolored lights glittered throughout the house. This was Harry Alderwood's favorite time of year.

COMMENTS: library book, enjoy Debbie Macomber's cozy romances. The Guardian Angels: Shirley, Godness & Mercy come down to earth to help w/ 3 special Christmas wishes. Henry is dying and wants to see his beloved wife of 65 yrs settled in an assisted living before he dies. Rosalie is reluctant to leave their family home. Beth was married right out of college, but it was over very quickly. She has never moved on from this relationship and still feels a failure. She meets someone on line and needs a push to take a chance. Carter is a 9 yr old boy is wants a dog more than anything else for Christmas. His parents are having a tough time making ends meet financially and can't afford the expense of a pet. Very cute holiday stories.
