This is one of the go-to books that Joshua and I turn to whenever we settle in for stories. The narrator, a precocious preschooler, retells the story of being born and adopted by her parents in a simple, straightforward, whimsical, and precious way. Whether adopted or not, it answers any child's question of "where did I come from?" by letting them know that families are created through love.
