really liked it
bookshelves: eat-drink-and-be-literary, chicago

There's something very midwestern about this book (and I mean that in a very good way). The characters are often as full of self-conscious smarty-pants feeling as you'd expect from a bunch of ad agency folks, but there is this decency to pretty much all of them that surprised me. I'd be interested to hear what East/West Coast friends thought.
