Joe's review
Twelve Angry Men (Penguin Classics) by Reginald Rose
Utterly dated, simplistic in its dramaturgy and in its politics, and yet still totally charming. It was a great starting book for my dramatic literature class this year, both approachable and theaterical.
Yeah i taught it last year to a bunch of kids who barely spoke english. I thought it was pretty fun I suppose. but four stars? dammit man, four stars is for things like michelangelo's pieta or that ditty i wrote last night on garageband. i think you're reaching.
