I have high praise for this book, but I must admit I'm biased. I enjoy this author under the pen name Ava March. She has a wonderfully rich voice under both pen names. As always, I love broken men and the shy yet brave women who fix them. Bella is a lonely ,heart-broken woman with a mischevious sprite for a cousin. A surprise set-up with a sexy escort named Gideon gives Bella the gift of companionship and sensual romance. He shows her a tenderness and passion her cruel, absent husband never allowed her. Gideon has a past he is trying to overcome and a future he's trying to build. With Bella's love he finds out that anything is possible. I recommend this lush, passionate read for anyone who enjoys reading erotic historicals.
