Although this book has Wodehouse's signature repartee and I enjoyed reading it for that alone, this one seems to be a bit more serious than the others I have read, which gives it an edge over the others. I actually didn't know until the end whether I wanted Sally to end up with Ginger or with Bruce. Bruce was delightfully Spockian (the Star Trek version) and therefore subject to humanization by a good woman, but Wodehouse didn't develop that theme so it ended as it should have, I guess, although I will always wonder if Wodehouse didn't miss a good literary turn here. As usual the book was full of "visuals", many of which were quite humorous. Wodehouse is particularly good at that.
