Twilight (Twilight, #1)
by Stephenie Meyer
by Stephenie Meyer
Curiosity is what got me interested in this book, but now it's pure guilty pleasure indulgence that will get me reading the rest of this so-called, saga.
The story of Bella & Edward reads very quick - I was able to finish within a week - and without giving away the candy store for the remaining 2 people who haven't read this - was quite tense at moments. I did pause and wonder why on earth it was taking almost 500 pages to tell this story of your typical teen-vampire romance.
The end was a bit hokey, but does set the stage for whatever the next book in the series is, which I will most likely read.
Verdict (post-Twilight): Team Edward
