Really great and hilarious book.

One thing that actually did bug me was in Chapter 4, regarding the question of whether female orgasm boosts fertility. In it, Roach constantly poses the question of whether we can know if female animals climax. Or is there "female-to-female bliss in the animal kingdom"?

What kingdom does she think humans are in? I know that saying "non-human animals" is kind of inelegant, but I think it would have been fine in the quoted line to have said "female-to-female bliss among other members of the animal kingdom". I'm not offended because of any speciesism inherent in her errors, I just find it really inaccurate and jarring. It stops me in my tracks while reading.

(I know a lot of scientific authors will use a disclaimer like, "For the purposes of this book, we will use 'Animal Kingdom' to denote non-human animals." GoodReaders, correct me if she had some sort of disclaimer like that and I missed it).
