Actually, my copy is still in the mail, so I'm not really reading it yet. But I will. I had this strange urge to read a few short mystery stories, sort of a change of pace....
Yes, Ruth. Clifford Garstang has a story listed in the back of Best American Mystery Stories, 2007 as one of the year's 30 "Distinguished Stories."And amazingly, I do, too.
Wow, what a great year you are both having! I don't read mystery stories normally, but now I want to check this out...Congrats Jim and Cliff!
Our stories aren't in the book, Kathy, just list among those that didn't quite make the book. (No reason not to read Best American Mystery Stories, just saying...)The story of mine listed is "The Accomplished Son," which you've already read, I'll bet, in TKTLB.
