I absolutely loved it. I devoured this book in a day and a half. It would have been a day, if it wasn't 4am and I had to work.

The new world that Nalini has created has me on pins and needle's and I'm glad I already have the 2nd book in the series. I just really hope she keeps the story focused on Elena and Rapheal, and that it's different from her Psy series. As much as I like her psy series, I do also love to have the same 'characters' in a series.

Nalini develops a world ruled by angels, who can turn mortals to vampires; at a price. The newly made must put in 100 years of service to the angel, a small price considering they lived forever, no? That wasn't always the case... There were many who reneged on their contract and that is where Elena came in ...

The blood-born vampire hunter. She is contracted by Angels, or master vampires who have taken control of said newly made vampire and tracks down those who do not uphold their end of the bargain.

When she's hired by one of the Archangel's, things get dicey. When she agrees to take on the job, more dangerous than any she's ever been on in her life, she gets into way more than she ever expected.

I loved it, and I loved the "unexpected" ending. Can't wait to read more.
