So, funny story, I was perusing the library book sell and this lady came up to me and told me this book was pretty interesting. I usually don't trust other random people's opinions, but I thought hey, it's a quarter. So I bought it. It had said it was part of Oprah's Book Club so that counts for something right? :) It was very long, but went pretty fast. It's really sad and can be disturbing at times; you sometimes want to hit the characters. But, if you are having a super lazy mood and you don't really want to think at all, this book does the trick and transports you somewhere else for a while. Just be aware it's not going to be some awesome literary classic. :)
