A cute story about two children who run away from home to live in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. While I can admire Claudia's foresight and independence, as a parent I can't help but think she showed appalling lack of concern for her own family. I did't much care for the narration of Mrs Basil E Frankweiler, but as a children's story it is clever and fun.
