So amazing. There is a reason why this book is so renowned, and that reason is that Gloria Anzaldua has managed to express the confusion, joy, rage, strength and isolation of mixed-identity queer people in a way that is both profound and accessible. She is a genius, and for those of us who do not share her Chicana background, the willingness with which she shares her experiences is inspiring and revelatory. I love her and would highly recommend this book to anyone.
