Okay, when do we get the movie?

It has been a long, long time since I've been so drawn into a book. The addition of a map to Chester's Mill was a nice touch, enabling me to get a better grasp of who-what-when-where.

Yes, the book is an astonishing 1000+ pages, yet I still wanted more of the story even after the last sentence. The characters feel so real, you start to have emotional reactions to them. The horror is graphic, but the real horror lies in the fact that you can almost imagine for yourself what it would be like if an impenetrable dome came down over your neighborhood, trapping you and God knows who else inside with you.

This book is a classic. Don't let the size of it deter you. Trust me, the pages will fly by!
