** spoiler alert ** I really did like this book, it's a good story in general. I like how Grace doesn't end up with Kai. I like how the point of view changes every so often, and I like how it was made up of what could be a lot of little stories. My only complaint is that it was too short to do a lot with. Grace's adventures were rushed, and I never quite understood how (or why) Deirdre fell in love with Kai. It might have been a longer time period, but it seemed like they knew each other for only a couple of days (maybe weeks if I really think about it) and suddenly they're both head-over-heels. But, overall, this is a good story. It's a fairy tale, so I suppose the in-love-within-the-week thing is pretty normal in fairy-tale-land. Overall, I did like this book. And I loved Cameron Dokey's writing, it was fantastic. I loved the way Grace, Kai, and Deirdre's narration was written, especially the opening to each of their stories. I recommend reading this one if you're a fan of fairy-tales, but I have to say that this book would be better with more pages and a less rushed story.
