I'm reading it, but only because I feel compelled by the powerful manly beauty that is Edward.
I'm so sick of whiny Bella and Mr. Perfect. I'm sick of women writing masturbatory literature about unrealistic men who no one with sense should ever fall in love with, but apparently the author has.
Why do I read this? I don't know. The plot is interesting, and it's easy to skip over the eighty pages of Bella looking longingly at Edward's staggeringly handsome visage and and whining about how she will never be good enough for him, then letting him order her around and then order her around some more. Feh.
Okay, I finished it. Again, Jacob is awesome and I loved the interplay of all the factions. If only we could do away with the pesky romance and make the Edward character just a leeeeetle more evil. That's my only big objection to this series.
