I am trying to go back and do reviews since I kind of went on hiatus for a while there. It is not easy to remember what I specifically liked and did not like about a book considering I forget details about a whole two seconds after I finish one and move on to the next but I am going to give it an honest go.

For starters: I cannot believe I have never read Heyer before! This was a first for me and I was delighted every step of the way. I appreciated the overall silliness of the whole book and LOVED the characters. My favorite (and you'll have to forgive me for not remembering his name since it has been a while) is the poet who walks around talking in nonsense rhymes. Something about it just made me laugh out loud on several occasions. I would not call this a "romance" by any means. More like match-making gone awry.
