I wasn't too impressed with this book at all. Almost every character was more adolescent than adult in mentality and I found it impossible to connect with any of them. Don't read it if you are sensitive to sexual situations or strong language (I am); it starts to get a bit mired in all the sludge about a third of the way in, and then it just goes plain crazy.
I DO however recommend the "conservation" section the writer added into the end of the book. It contains a lot of great information on the true state of whales on Earth today (it will really open your eyes), and it is filled with his own humorous style of writing.

I'm only giving this book 2 stars because of the "conservation" section, and because a few parts of the book made me laugh out loud, and that is a rare thing for me with literature.
