The argument has been had before: what's worse? a commerce killer or a hypocritical, self-justifying killer? I don't know. The pictures were pretty and I envied the depth of detail, yet loose expressive drawing. In the end, I wanted to read more. It's not Aya—and it's a helluva lot better than the thrill kill nonsense in "Joker" (it's safe to say that was the worst book I read this year). Perhaps I hope that the other volumes will be more suspenseful than ruminative. If so, then Matz has an able artist in Jacamon at his disposal.
