bookshelves: suspense, techno-thriller

This novel is superior to the Da Vinci Code. It is more evenly paced and less a mash-up of history and theology. The murders are grisly (something Brown seems to favor), but they fit the plot. The science is a discordant note within the framework of the story. I do like the Robert Langdon character.
