Title: The Story Of Saint Catrick
Author: Robby Charters
This was quite a fantasy with the animal kingdom at war with each other. There are several species at war with each other, The Persian Dynasty- The Cats, Cocker Spaniel Dynesty- The Dogs, and then we have the Rodent species- which included many different types from the mice to the rats to the gerbils and squirrels. We have the rodents fighting for their freedom from the cat-rule nad the cats winning their freedom from the dogs rule. The cats always acknowledged their selves as the superior species over the animal kingdom except for one - Catrick. As a kitten he was inducted into the service and went off to war only to be severely injured. Found by a family of mice they took him in and nursed him back to health. This family changed his attitude toward the rodent population and as he grew older he attended the “School of Hard Knocks” Was it not written the cats and rodents hated each other. Later as a professor at the university, he related his story to the kittens of how he was injured and saved and before long the kittens had started a revolution. They were having a munity against their own species. As Catrick sets out to spread the message that all species can live together in harmony, the maker did not intend for there to be war among them the rodent population rise up against them as Catrick and his band of believers encounter riots, political adversity, and prejudice from within their own familys.
As one reads this book there are many different things that can come to one’s mind. When I first started reading the first thing I seen in the story line was a resemblance to the WW I and II, but as I read a little further, I thought of the Biblical wars in the Old Testament. One can see the getto wars between different gangs or ethnic groups. The Nazis and the Jews, The revolts in Ireland, or the Blacks versus the Whites. About peace makers or what one has to face in this generation. Using the animals instead of people the author has wrote this in such a way as one can let their imagination take them to places that could relate to them in some manner. It is quite interesting with a what I would call a deep reading between the lines, to let one’s mind grasp what the story line is about.

I just found this while doing a google search. I am Robby Charters. I used to write under the pseudonym of C. Baruch, but decided to go for something close to my real name (they called me "robby" as a small kid). The version of Catrick that I signed "C.Baruch" to was through GreatUnPublish/Bookserge. I've since withdrawn it, re-edited some and re-released it at Smashwords, which is where Lynn found it.
Thank you, Lynn, for the great review. I'll link to it.
