Wondrous Strange is a faerie tale about Kelly Winslow, a young girl just trying to make it on stage in NYC, but finds she is much more than an actress. While walking through Central Park one day, she meets a guy who strangely disappears. Sonny, guards the gate between the human and faerie worlds. He is drawn to Kelly, the one who can see him when she shouldn't be able to do so.

One of the things that I really liked about this book was that when Kelly is told faeries exist, she's skeptical, like most people would be, instead of readily believing him.

I listened to the audiobook, read by the author, and really enjoyed it. The author did a great job with the voices and had a way of making it easy to visualize exactly what was happening in the story. So, for that reason I rate the book 3½★.

I will probably read Darklight, book 2, at some point down the road.
