the book is about a little boy named jackie. he started off really poor. but he did what he was told and he started playing baseball. and from there he started getting better and better. and eventually he got into schools. and from there he became a famous baseball player.
i can connect to the story because i set my mind to typing really fast and at first i really was slow because i coulndt type because in less than a minute but now i can in less then 4 seconds. so it just comes to show that in time you can achive what you set your mind to. just like jackie.
i would have givin this book three stars because i thought that it was good. i liked how it related to me. but i didnt like how it was formatted. i would reccomend his book to people who like baseball and legionds. because thats what this book was about.
