Recommended for: everyone old enough

All of the J.D. Robb books are amazing! They are futuristic (although not unrealistic) homicide detective stories. The murder mysteries keep you interested, but what holds me are the characters. There is a main protagonist, but it is more like an ensemble story. The books have it all: murder, mystery, comedy, romance, sex, politics... I recommend all of the books, but it is important for character development to read them in order. Naked In Death is the first book.

Maria This is Erica's mom. I signed in using her userid to see what the site was about and searched on JD Robb. I was so in agreement with this review that I clicked on the "I liked it" link, forgetting that I was signed in as Erica and not knowing that this Erica was my Erica. Small world. I have read the entire series twice and plan to read them again. Eve Dallas is a fantastic character. Why haven't they made these books into movies? (Although I can't imagine any actor able to protray either Eve Dallas or her gorgeous husband Roark.)
