Gwen This is a great book! But best read in daylight hours.

Rebecca Is it scary?

Gwen Just the guy who does the murders. A real creep. Nothing supernatural, which is what I can't handle in the dark! But there's also interesting saga of the artists, architects, etc. who produced the Chicago World's Fair that year. That's a story in itself.

Rebecca Hopefully I'll get to it someday. I do have to watch what I read before bed, so thanks for the heads-up!

Gwen Yes! I get it. I once had to go sleep in the closet after reading upsetting stuff about the Oklahoma City Bombing. I took my quilt and a kitchen knife and hid under the hanging clothes. Have to admit, I felt much safer, even though I probably wasn't. Maybe people like us have too much imagination for our own good.
