I'm a big fan of smallish, well designed houses. We have enough McMansions with one or two people knocking around inside of them. For example, in my hometown of Nashville, TN, a country music artist recently sold her 27,000 square foot log house because her children are grown and she needs to downsize. I'll say!

There is a better way to live, one that is easier on the planet and on the rest of us. Try a not-so-big house next time.
