it was amazing
bookshelves: classics, non-fiction, psychology, favorites, manly-men-and-their-manparts, murder-most-foul, true-crime
Read in October, 2010

This is the book that inspired an entire shelf at Barnes & Noble, an entire genre of literature, and it's probably also responsible, at least in part, for all those serial killer murder shows on Dateline or whatever that my roommate watches all the time, and then she comes into my room and makes me turn all the lights on because she's scared of being murdered and chopped up into little pieces. It may even be indirectly responsible for bringing Law & Order: SVU into the world (for which I thank it).

Regardless, this book impressed the hell out of me. Capote was a damn fine writer.
