really liked it

Davidson manages to make an unoriginal plot very entertainng. This is the classsic story of the superstar athlete who falls in love with the smart, plain girl even though he is dating the prettiest girl in school. This book has all the required drama of a high school romance, and I must admit that it is a page turner. I can see my female students really getting into it.

This is a book that I would recommend for outside reading, but I would never assign it. Beyond the drama and the "don't judge a book by its cover" message I don't think it offers a whole lot.
