I got this book when it first came out in 2004, but never got around to reading it (like dozens of other books on my shelf). I'm bringing it with me to Paris for our one year anniversary trip.
Very, very good at times then petered out. I didn't even finish it.

Christian and I just got back from Paris (in celebration of our wedding anniversary). I am really glad I waited until then to start reading this book. I see so many correlations of my ex-pat experience and the author's. I'm only 80 pages into it, so more later!
