Read in January, 2010

Does a great job of showing sensitivity to the working-class people of Russia during his time. I also like the stories which have to do with male/female relationships because it adds emotional weight to the story. At times, his stories are dry, mainly because they're brutally realistic, and the characters are isolated, lonely individuals.
