I read this book in English, it was one of the few school books I enjoyed. I learnt many things about prejudice and discrimination against the Jews during World War II. It shows us how the Jews were prosecuted and treated unfairly while putting in all the the emotions inside.

When Friedrich Schneider was eight years old, Adolf Hitler cam eto power in Germany. Some Germans welcome the new leader, but not Friedrich and his family, who were Jews. This story is about how the Jews led their lives under the rule of the Nazis in Germany. The Nazis stripped the Jews of their rights and destroyed them.
