It's fascinating to go behind the scenes in 1918 Israel, but I found my attention wandering from the meandering story. (If I'd wanted a book where by "adventure" they meant walking, walking, and more walking, I'd have reread The Fellowship of the Rings. Ooh, maybe that means there's a movie version of this where they show the sun rise and set a few times and then cut to the action??) I think I'm done with this series... I'm just not a mystery fan, and the character drama has pretty much played out.
