liked it
bookshelves: 20th-century, cult

it's hard to say if this has any literary value beyond its revelation of the beat culture and its tastiness as a road novel. i think i enjoy it so much because i've driven through many of those strange, backwards places.

if only kerouac could go on a roadtrip now... he could've seen the Corn Palace!
